The caller display is everything shown as part of a caller's identity: business name, logo, and call reason. This article covers the default call branding applied to your new phone numbers, and the image library where your caller images are stored.

Default call branding
The default branding section (under Branded Call on the left-hand side) is where you can add the details that will be added by default for all new phone numbers. You will still be able to edit caller display items for new phone numbers. The details provided for a phone number's caller display must adhere to Hiya's content guidelines.
A preview of how Hiya will display your calls is also available here.
To modify the details of your default call branding, click "Edit Settings" at the top, fill in or change the desired pieces of information, and click "Save changes" at the bottom.
Please keep in mind that changing the default call branding will trigger a re-approval process. Once you make changes to the default branding, it will be in the "pending" status until approval, which should take no longer than 24-48 hours.
Image library
The image library is a view of every image uploaded to your account, which can be used as caller images in call branding. In the image library, you can add, review, or remove caller images from your account. You can also find caller image IDs to add or update caller images via a phone number bulk upload.
Adding a new caller image
To add a new caller image click on the "Upload image" button near the top right of the page.
In the upload pop-up window, drag your file to the upload area or browse your computer for jpg, gif, or png images. Images must adhere to Hiya's content guidelines.
Next, adjust your image to fit the circular display area. If necessary, use the zoom control at the bottom and drag your image into position. This is how your image will be displayed on devices when making a call. When you are done, click the "Save and upload image" button.
Removing a caller image
You can remove caller images from your image library. Only images not currently used by any phone numbers can be removed.
To remove a caller image from your library, first update any phone numbers currently using that image, replacing it with a new or existing image. When the image no longer has any phone numbers associated with it, click on the three dots to the right and select "Remove unused image".
Determining which phone numbers are displaying an image
If an image is being used for call branding, the "phone numbers" column will display the count of phone numbers currently using that image. To see which phone numbers are associated with that image, click on the three dots to the right and select "View phone numbers".
Finding a caller image ID for a bulk upload
When uploading phone numbers in bulk, you can include an existing image from your image library as a caller image. To do this, you will need the caller image ID.
Find the image you would like to use, copy its caller image ID, and paste it into the appropriate field in your CSV.
Common questions
Is the default call branding added to all of my future numbers automatically?
When you add a new phone number, the fields will be pre-populated with the details from the default call branding. However, you can change any of those details while registering your new number.
Can I set up different details for different numbers?
Of course. You can manually add the numbers or fill in the fields in a bulk upload template.
What if I want to change the Caller Display details for a number that is already registered with Hiya?
You can manually edit your phone number details or send us a bulk upload file with the updated information. Please see detailed instructions in The Branded Call phone numbers list.
